Some information about beresite:
Beresite is a metasomatic rock consisting of quartz (25-50%), albite (5-25%), sericite (10-15%), carbonate (up to 10%) and enriched with pyrite. Beresite is a sign of gold deposits. It named after the Berezovsky deposit in the Urals.
Beresite formed as a result of low-temperature metasomatic changes in rocks of granitic composition under the influence of hydrothermal solutions of the acidic stage of leaching. Has a hardness of 4.5.
