Beresite

Beresite is a metasomatic rock consisting of quartz, albite, sericite, carbonate and enriched with pyrite. Beresite is a sign of gold deposits. It named after the Berezovsky deposit in the Urals.

Beresite formed as a result of low-temperature metasomatic changes in rocks of granitic composition under the influence of hydrothermal solutions of the acidic stage of leaching. Has a hardness of 4.5.
