Zarinite

Zarinite is a rare ornamental rock consisting of a mixture of copper-bearing minerals (azurite, malachite, chrysocolla) in limonite.

The name zarinite comes from the place where it discovered – the Altai Krai, namely the area around the city of Zarinsk.

Zarinite distinguished by its vibrant, varied coloring with iridescent blue, green, red, and yellow hues. It used as a collector’s item and in jewelry.
